Thanks to Ton Werkman at Soundtrack Collector, I can confirm that the 2nd soundtrack cover image I mentioned on my previous post IS genuine.

Wow – it looks nothing like the “genuine” artwork you originally put on your site, John!
All anyone had to do was wait for the Decca website to add the official artwork. Nothing was gained by faking information.
Running this Danny Elfman site for a few years, I’ve learned when to get all excited about “information” and it’s validity. Anyone remember the news that Elfman would produce the next No Doubt album? Elfman scoring AMERICAN PSYCHO? Or CONDO PAINTING? Or even TERMINATOR 3!
In reality it’s an inconsequential — the artwork and tracklistings were false — so who really cares? The real CD will he in our hands on Septermber 24th, and I’ll do everything in my power to get a copy from Universal Music A.S.A.P.

For what it’s worth, I still don’t believe anyone was “faking” the previous artwork anyway. Track list? *maybe* I certainly didn’t fake either though (don’t shoot the messenger!), and I stand by my sources despite this development
The best news is though that I certainly prefer this artwork though – the UK one (real or not) is a little “flat” for my liking.

please, we are not judging you, we are just saying somebody pulled a fast one on you, that is all… just accept it, it has happened to all of us (*cough* red dragon interview *cough*)
