What happens when you put Edward Norton and Anthony Hopkins together?
They’re both great actors and Edward rose to the occasion standing across from Anthony Hopkins. It’s an interesting dynamic, very different than the Jodie Foster-Anthony Hopkins dynamic.

And how does the Dolarhyde/Tooth Fairy villain compare to Hannibal Lecter and Buffalo Bill?
I think Ralph Fiennes is going to impress you. He’s a great actor and very scary, but also very poignant as well. You almost forgive him when he ((spoiler here)). I think what differentiates this movie from the other movies is that it has a lot of heart because of that character and that storyline.

Are you attached to further Hannibal Lecter episodes?
I think this is the end of it. I hope. Dino De Laurentiis could change his mind and make another one. I don’t know.”
