GuestI’ve read a couple of internet AOL interviews on Danny Elfman and wanted to know if they were legit or not. . . I don’t have a link to them, because I read them a long long time ago, but I’m sure you could find them easily if you already havn’t.

GuestIf they’re easy to find, why not find them, and link to them here?

He says some truly odd things in that.

GuestYes, that’s legit.
Supposedly there is a trainwreck of a version out there with a bunch of questions that were supposed to be going into another chatroom but AOL screwed something up and he kept getting the wrong questions. And he got annoyed, obviouisly.
I’ve always loved his answer to the favorite food question.
If anyone out there has the NOT CLEANED UP version of this, I’d love to see it. And I don’t just mean typing out the words that got censored in that copy. If there were other questions that got left off, let me know.

GuestAre the interviews fake? They definitely seem like it.

GuestThe AOL one is real. I remember seeing it online back 1994. It was concurrent with the release of Oingo Boingo’s last studio album, Boingo.
It’s not like the bogus RED DRAGON one that some jackass posted here, where the intervirewer asks questions of Elfman that no one would, and he responds in ways that are completely out of character for him.
