    DC is producing a live BATMAN show in the UK and Ireland and have hired James (PLANET 51) Brett to score. You can hear some of his music – which is more in the Elfman vein than the Zimmer/DARK KNIGHT territory – here:

    It sounds more like Shirley Walker with a little Elliot Goldenthal thrown in.

    Yeah, but then both of those used Elfman as a template.

    Thanks for the heads-up, Ryan. Sounds interesting. Strange that the composer James Brett doesn’t say anything about the obvious inspiration(s) in that interview.
