The insert in today’s paper says that the Best Buy release will have 2 extra and exclusive bonus tracks, just like they did with Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (haha). Unfortunately, I do not know what these are, and the CD’s page at bestbuy.com did not list the track names. As usual, the CD will go for $9.99 the first week (or day, or whatever they do). So, I might hold off on getting the Elfman demos on iTunes (assuming they’re on there) to see what these tracks are. If anyone knows, post it below. Wouldn’t that be funny if it was “Here Comes Santa Claus” from the band that plays in the movie?
While you’re at BestBuy on Tuesday, you might want to also pick up a copy of Nacho Libre, which includes a free mask (well, I am atleast).*EDIT* The exclusive songs are “This is Halloween” and “The Scheming Song”…..

Hmmmm, this page at Best Buy ( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?type=category&id=pcmcat103500050013 ) writes that the ‘extra songs’ are “This is Halloween” and the “Scheming Song” (which was the same as “Kidnap Sandy Claws” last time I checked [?]). I thought these demos included on the regular upcoming release of this CD? Now I’m confused (I don’t want my version without these, since the demos are the very thing I’ll be buying this CD for. Hmph.)

I’m confused… “This Is Halloween” and “The Scheming Song” (Aka “Kidnap The Sandy Claws”) are part of the regular NIGHTMARE re-release soundtrack. How are they bonuses?
On another note, it’s irked me that all of the demos are not making the re-release CD.

I picked up the 2-disc this morning, not at Best Buy (Canada) – they didn’t have any copies (huh?) but at HMV. So the mystery of what their “exclusive” tracks are remains a mystery for the next few hours!

Is it just me, or are there additional effects in the “This is Halloween” demo compared with the MFADT2 version?
They sound like two very distinct mixes of the same song. The new NIGHTMARE “This is Halloween” demo features a vox sample at the beginning and throughout the track.
