Well, in my opinion, the best o’ boingo would have to be “little girls”. I was floored the first time I heard it because of the uncanny stylistic similarities this song has with danny’s film work. Anyone who relegates danny to ‘hummer’ should carefully scrutinize this song, as it is a blazingly obvious indicator of elfman’s quirkiness later to be implimented in his film work.
at gunpoint, if I HAD to choose something besides “little girls”, it would have to be “spider”, off of ‘boingo’, although I don’t believe this song is comparable with “Little Girls”.

a song I’d CRANK is, well, let’s get cliche’ here and say Dead Man’s Party, or We Close Our Eyes.

definitely Little Girls! I love that song. It is the best boingo song and the catchiest in my opinion. SleepyHello got my second choice with Wild Sex. I just love the energy in those songs. But of course, for me, picking a favorite boingo song is as hard as picking a favorite Simpsons episode. There are so many greats.
What do I crank up loud in the car at stoplights? “Helpless” and “Nasty Habits” are always good. There’s no better way to impress people than a song with lines like, “Helplessly ****ed in the *** by a legion of forty ex-cons”.
Seriously? I turn my music down at stoplights, because I get sick of hearing other people’s music when at stoplights and I try to show them the same courtesy I want them to show me.
Hmmm….I don’t like to crank my stereo up loud at stoplights either (seeing that I don’t really own a car just yet
*chuckles*), but I would love to play Pain loud – watching people’s expressions as I belt out ‘Is it any wonder now/ Everybody goes insane/ Everybody locks the doors to keep out any strangers…’ at the stoplight would be fun to see. *grins* Wonderful beat to Pain, and I agree with the lyrics a lot. If there was an actual score I’d play loud, I would have to play the main titles to Freeway – dark, quirky, has a good beat, and GORGEOUS theme!!! *melts thinking of it*Wonderful question, DmW!
