GuestHere’s a fun game: try singing out loud the “la la” theme from Nightbreed, but replace the “la”s with “meow”s. Hmm…….

Guest.. or, if you’ve seen moulin rouge, try singing, “diamonds are a..”
lexi: meow meow meow meow, meow meow meow meow..

GuestIs it a riddle? Easy one:that particular “chorus” already appeared in Hot toTrot as the leit-motif in a commercial shown on tv while Don is trying to talk to his brother…

Guestto paraphrase, dagon, um, do you mean they played the “meow mix” commercial in hot to trot? i haven’t seen the film, so i wouldn’t know.

GuestCats are not my favorite animals. Next to llamas, dogs are my favorite. There’s just something intrinsically endearing about a clueless animal running up when you open the door, a look on its face saying, “You’re home! You’re home! Want to play? Huh, do ya? I was so bored that I chased my tail and barked at the squirrels, but now that you’re home…” and then they get SO excited that they roll around on the floor and try to knock you down…or at least my puppy does. She’s SO adorable and fun! (Yes, my dog consumes a large part of my weekends. I dressed her up as Zero for Halloween. Yeah, I know I’m weird…think what you want, but she’s better than most people I’ve had the unfortunate experience of knowing…)
An even more fun game than the “la la la…” experiment: stealing your neighbor’s shower curtain, hanging it up in your bathroom, inviting them over for tea, and see if they notice “something different.” Not something I’ve done, but it is something I’ve always wondered about…yet this is a Danny Elfman discussion board, so…back to the man…
-E (too tired to remember the “la la la…” theme from “Nightbreed”)

Guest“E” – ((is that what you had to change your name to due to certain people with way too much time on their hands?))
Not that I **ever** recommend these animals as pets . . . but I’ve discovered the perfect animals for people who are semi-interested in cats but much prefer dog personalities. Mountain lions and tigers. Yup. Since July, I’ve been volunteering weekly at a sanctuary for big cats and bears (70+ animals there) and I’ve really grown quite fond of the mountain lions and tigers because they’ve got all the feline behaviors going on, but their outlook and personalities are so . . . doggish.
But . . . yeah . . . don’t even think about ’em as pets. I’m pretty sure the majority of the animals there come from people who had them as pets and either rapidly realized how dangerous they are or mistreated them terribly in the hopes of showing them who was boss.
And . . . OK now . . . how did you dress your dog up as zero? Got any pictures? I’m particularly interested in seeing the nose

– Me (who is not at all a cat person . . . but starts squealing and giggling whenever a Meow Mix commercial comes on. And if she ever has any kids, she will name them all Baxter.)

Guestinfynite is notorious for talking about either horses or band, so this is a nice change of pace, but still.. guys.. nightbreed was the subject!
and erika, get a journal! (yes, this is lexi, but no, we were not talking about felines. sorry to get your hopes up!) but erika, no. no. no. if you know this is a completely unrelated topic, that why post. why??::deep breath::
but i must close, now, because what needed to be said about nightbreed has already been said. and our little online unibomber has messed up the posting just in time.
lexi: but anyways, mark motherbaugh, wait. where am i?

GuestLexi and Infynitie – Yes, I know the topic was completely unrelated; I only did so to annoy people
Okay, I thought it was funny… I’m not even going to joke about the Unabomber comment, because I did that once, and almost got expelled from high school way back when. Enough said.Infynitie – I’ll email you a description of my dog’s Halloween costume, as I don’t have pics, and don’t want to waste everyone else’s time…
Nightbreed, eh? Get this: I couldn’t find it at any Blockbuster or Hollywood Video store in town…but I did find it on sale at a gas station several months ago. Picked it up for a cool $3.99.
-E (who started up a conversation with a gas station attendant just last week…lovely man named Rufus. I liked his name, he liked my hair, and thus, a completely random conversation ensued)

Guestand thus, i reply to idiocy. (i can’t spell.)
it is odd that just yesterday, i went to a gas station that was selling about thirty tapes for cheap, and, seeing as there might be something good in there, i took a look. well, i only learned that someone had the horrible idea to release the blair witch project on video.
lexi- who had a conversation with the clerk at the gas station and his entire family who happened to be sitting behind the counter having their dinner.

GuestC, B, A, G. C, B, A, G. C, B, C, C#, D, B, A, G. (That is probably the wrong key but screw it)…now for Nightbreed…Fb, Eb, Db, C and repeat (does more but hey, I’m tired), now, if you look, transposed the Kitty thingy would be Fb, Eb, Db, B, close but no cigar. Why the slight difference? One is in the major and the other in the harmonic minor. Now have fun kiddies for I must sleep.
Knight (Who sees that Ryan doesn’t respond the the e-mails people him send now).
