anyone see the 40th anniversary special on “the grinch” on abc tonigh? it’s an hour — they play “the grinch”, then go behind the scenes for the second half-hour — a tad cheesy overall, but we get some vintage danny and tim footage, talking about their love for the grinch.

Hahaha! You beat me to it! I was just about to write about it. I come home from school and turn on the TV and there it is! Vintage Elfman and Burton. I went nutz! That was TOTALLY unexpected.
I saw it too, but then I remembered that I’d seen most of it before. The special isn’t really new, they just replaced footage of Phil Hartman with Tom Bergeron. I was still excited to see though!
