GuestHi, come from Wilhehlmshaven, Germany, and i think, Danny Elfman is a great Composer, his Score to Red Dragon is very good. My favourite Score´s:
Batman
Batman Returns
Planet of the Apes
Proof of life
Spider-Man
Red Dragon
Men in Black 1&2I hope, Danny became a Academy Award for this Score Spider-Man.
Sincerly yours,
Juergen

GuestYeah, it would be kind of interesting if Danny Elfman really “became an Academy Award”. But what would happen if a double-headed Llama became Danny Elfman? Or if James Horner became a double-headed plastic dildo? (“Thrust gently against each other for deeper and more satisfying penetration.”) What about a double-headed plastic James Horner becoming a giant helium-filled gerbil? Or a giant dildo-filled wild turkey (one of the most famous birds in North America – did you know that Benjamin Franklin wanted to make the wild turkey, not the Bald Eagle, the national bird of the United States?) becoming Alan Silvestri’s latest score for ol’ Jerry boy’s “Pirates of the Carribean” starring Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, the yummy Legolas guy from LOTR?
So many questions. I do not dare to answer them.January 28, 2003 at 9:05 pm #43923Anonymous

GuestIf a double-headed llama became Elfman, we could name him Horace AND Lester! Yay for Elfman! Yay for llamas! Yay for vampirous llamas on trampolines! If Elfman ever became a llama, he should star in Nat’s lovely rendition of “Hopping Bloody Llamas.” If Horner ever became a llama, the rest of the herd would probably just feast on him every once in a while and leave him to rot in the sun – you know, being vampirous and all. *Ahem* Oops, did I really say that? Well, it was just an idea…

GuestOkay, okay, I”m JUST KIDDING on the Horner comment. That SHOULD have been Williams instead of Horner
(To all you Johnny Williams and/or Jimmy Horner fans out there – I’m only kidding). All in good fun,

GuestWhat if some people started taking medication? You still hear the voices, but the personalities aren’t always there….

GuestI vote for “Llamas and Samurai.” Who’s with me? Sluggo’s lines would change to: “Llamas…have pretty tails, big ears, they like to spit.” Danny would sing: “Samurai and llamas…alpacas…and samurai.” Wow, somebody should tell the Dead Man’s Party guys about this and see what they say! (Or not…)

GuestWhat’s this? What’s this?
These llamas everywhere!
What’s this?
These llamas in my head!
What’s this?
I can’t believe my ears
I must be dreaming
Wake up, jack, this isn’t there!
What’s this?What’s this? What’s this?
There’s something very wrong
What’s this?
These llama’s singing songsWhat’s this?
The streets are lined with
Little llamas laughing
Every llama seems so happy
Have I possibly gone daffy?
What is this?
What’s this?January 29, 2003 at 8:47 am #43941Anonymous

GuestThere are more Danny-Elfman-Fans in Germany, but you’re right: unfortunately not too many.
We’re two of the few fans here.
To whom it may be of some interest: poor Juergen is victim of a “false friend”:
in English “to get” = “bekommen” in German
in English “to become” = “werden” in GermanSo many Germans think that “bekommen” = “to become”.
