GuestI really appriciate seeing what was posted from this interview. I’m wondering if someone would like to post the parts about MIB 2 and whatever else may have been omitted since so many of us, even subscribers didn’t get an issue with the interview.
I got my new one today. It’s the one with Smith and Jones on the cover and a small inset of Frank. I think we’ve already determined that it is NOT the one with the interview.
I still checked every page though. I’m sad to say that like the others, I didn’t see it anywhere.
Then I fired off a letter to the publishers asking why I should renew if they’re going to deprive me of a Danny Elfman interview. I’m sure the thought of one less subscriber just has them quaking, but what other power do I hold?

GuestI live in Germany. It was in the PX. MAybe it was a SPECIAL issue.
I know that, like most mags here, it had an export logo stamped on the back.
There were three other major articles in it. One on WILL SMITH, one on TERMINATOR 3 and one on WINDTALKERS.

GuestIt’s rant time, ladies and gents. For those of you that are as pissed off about this as I am , I encourage you all to send letters to Entertainment Weekly at ew_letters@ew.com
I wrote one, and here is a copy:
“As a faithful fan of compser Danny Elfman’s for many years, I was excited to learn that in your upcoming issue you would feature an interview with Elfman about his upcoming project, Red Dragon. And as a faithful EW reader, I was excited to open my mailbox and find Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith on the cover, and the interview inside.
What I did not find, however, is the Elfman interview. Distressed, I learned from fellow fans that you published the interview in an issue simultaneously published featuring Frank the Pug on the cover, not Jones and Smith. I am stunned and irritated not just that EW would make Elfman available to only half its readers, but that I would receive an incomplete issue of the magazine despite my subscription, promising every issue.
I have never been more disappointed and angered by the magazine. The fact that I have to purchase an issue from the newsstand that I should have received in my mailbox will make me think carefully about renewing my subscription next year and will prevent me from recommending the magazine to friends.Brendan…”
All you fans and especially subscribers of EW should write and let them know how wrong this is.

Guestyeah, I was disappointed too but I think you’ve looked over the fact that the issue is not available AT ALL in the U.S. This is a European version of EW, which is not what you get in your mailbox. Maxim magazine also has a UK version which is always completely different than its U.S. counterpart.
