    For those of you who care, Ebert and Roeper gave the movie two thumbs up! They basically said that Depp doesnt work but everything else really does! Seeing the review and more clips makes me even more excited!

    If they didn’t get Depp’s interpretation of the role I wonder how they actually understood the film. Those two will always make me laugh…

    It’s a difference between “getting” and “liking.” I understood Depp’s motivation for his character — I just felt it was all wrong for the movie. It was awful, in fact. This new CATCF does nothing to unseat the Gene Wilder version on my video shelf.
