I’ve heard that there are many Danny Elfman hate sites on the ‘net. Is this true?! I don’t dare search for any.

I searched but all I found was a few references on a Classical Music message board where they were more up in arms over film music over the last 20 years than they were over Danny Elfman exclusively.

I wondered myself if there were any hate boards dedicated to the Elf since he took such a beating in his early years. I never was motivated enough to actually look though. Now I know I don’t have to, even if I wonder about it some night at 3 am and have nothing better to do, I know not to do it.

Yeah, she’d definitely win in a contest for “most rabid Elfman fan.” Now I have to go looking for some *other* guy who has (or more appropriately for Elfman, *had*, although I’m not willing to acknowledge it) red fluffy hair, tats, and a wickedly morbid sense of humor…not to mention, writes fantastic music and sings just as well, too. Yeah, your IQ starts a steady decline when you start working on your master’s thesis – or at least mine did. I started out around a 55 or so, but then it steadily spiraled downward to the present level…sad, isn’t it? I”m refusing to blow 15 bucks on anything right now…I”m actually starting to sell my beloved book collection piecemeal. It’s so depressing…well, given the fact that someone offered to buy my original version of The Metamorphosis and I wouldn’t sell it (man, I could have lived off of that chunk of change for 5 years, easily!)…gotta have something left over, right? Fananything is draining in and of itself…and here I am trying to hang onto my comic books, and selling my actual literature…madness!
