I love Danny Elfman, let’s love him together.September 5, 2002 at 11:53 pm #41873Anonymous
GuestI love my dog and sushi, but I don’t think we should all love those things together…

GuestI think Sushi would be a good name for a dog.
I know that’s not the topic, but it just occured to me after reading your post.
I like Chow-Mein for a cat too.

GuestHm…pets with food names…interesting…I always wanted to have 2 dogs: 1 named Jesus (pronounced in the “American/AngloSaxon” vernacular) and the other named Jesus (pronounced in the Spanish vernacular)…and if I did have a cat, which I don’t think I ever would, I’d name it Guppy, just to lessen its inevitable feline superiority complex… Doesn’t Danny have a dog named “Gus?” I thought I heard that in the Farewell video…something about the dog waiting 17 years for Elfman to unlock the door…lol!

GuestAnyone who owns a dog automatically moves up in my little world (which more often than not is a very dark place).
I’ve read snippits here and there about Danny having dogs–Border Collies and Australian Sheepdogs, I think–but I couldn’t really tell you which articles they’re from, on account of my mind being not there.
I wouldn’t recommend naming a dog Jesus, though. At least, not in the American pronounciation, on account of if he or she ever got into trouble, you’d always be shouting things like “Down, Jesus!” and “Jesus! No!” not to mention some more colorful phrases, depending upon your tolerence and patience.
Anyways, all of your neighbors would then hear your “blasphemous” jargon, and think your all Satanic and such, and would have cause to break out the inevitable pitchforks–yet again (doesn’t that seem to happen a lot?).
Then again, it might be worth it just to mess with the minds of people!

GuestHahaha! That’s the point! (I’m a former Catholic…presently, I’m an agnostic, but I do have a grudge for those 12 years I spent oppressed in religious schools…what else can I say)? Plus, I think it’s so bizarre that I find it a very funny option…
-E (who got asked to come to a baby shower this weekend for someone at my workplace…considering that I know for a fact that this woman doesn’t like me, I’m convinced it was only done to snag a free gift. Would’ve been better to have been ignored, know what I mean?)

Guest(I give better presents to people who adopt puppies and dogs and such, then those who have babies).
