was at the lotr london gig lastnite. once again it was amazing. better than the festival hall performance if u ask me! and i was rite up by the orchestra. great sound. and the instruments were miced up so i think it’ll be the version on the symphony cd.
Howard Shore was at that one, right?? Which is why he wouldn’t have been at the Hollywood Bowl here in LA . . . which was awful by the way! It was the first time in my life I’ve walked out on a performance (and it was to get away from the music, since if you’ve ever been to the Hollywood Bowl you know that nobody really gets to leave until the concert is over!) . . . It was truly, truly embarassing.
