I, a total addict of Disney Theme Park music, was searching for some more music resources when I came upon a site called “Sound of Magic.” Not only is it a great place for Disney music samples and artist info, it also has a special section devoted to the Haunted Mansion Holiday. It had some information written about it and I was a bit confused by what it said. There’s talk that Danny wrote original themes for the attraction, but the site seems to project the idea that they just took stuff from his original “Nightmare” score. I’m a bit confused by this so I’ll post the link for anyone who wants to figure it out. Also on the site are music samples with what sounds like no Elfman.
