GuestSome days ago, my first impression about the “MIB 2” score was of slight disappoinment; after actually watching the film, I have to say that I was wrong, at least partially wrong… The music may still disappoint on CD format, but it works beautifully within the movie – which, in fact, I didn’t find as bad as a big part of the american film critics want people to think it is. OK, I liked it! The biggest disappointments in the movie were Patrick Warburton – who I think is a very funny comedian and whose character in “MIB 2” is one of the most unfunny creations ever put in film – and Johnny Knoxville, who seems to do to his acting career the same thing he does to his body in every episode of “Jackass”, only with much more success. The rest of the film is really fast and funny, still full of above average wild ideas for a summer blockbuster and I was happy to realize that Danny Elfman’s score is great. I will listen to the CD again. I know I’ll like it much more now.
