I’m a proud Disney World addict and I dubscribe to the “Inside the Magic” podcast. One of their news stories was about Disney’s interest in having a Halloween celebration at the MGM Studios park that would be for a slightly older crowd that would be the equvalent to what Universal has at their parks. Hosting the proposed Disney festivities would be Jack Skellington himself, accompanied by other Disney villains. If said event did actually go through, could it be a revival for NBC content and perhaps a new recording by Danny himself? After all, he’s involved in a Disney production right now, so it would be no problem for him to do a recording, granted he was interested. Very cool proposition, though.
I hope he might be involved somehow, but remember that John Debney arranged Elfman’s themes from NIGHTMARE for the remodeling of the Haunted Mansion a few years back. So it’s possible the work will land on someone else’s desk.
I bought that Haunted Mansion CD when I was at Disneyland last year and Debney did a fine job. I just wish the narration was dropped!
