GuestJust a note to point you towards MoviePoopShoot.com, the new site from Kevin Smith and View Askew. The site is brand spanking new and features a column by my good English pal Paul Tonks about film music and soundtracks. Paul is a Danny Elfman-friendly journalist and film score afficianado, so show his some support!
His latest article reviews both SPIDER-MAN and takes a look back at BATMAN. Be sure to leave your mark at the message board and let em know what you think is the all-time best superhero theme.

Guestum, which name?

GuestOne could only assume the name he meant was “Movie Poop Shoot”.
It was originally a part of the movie Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. It was a faux Ain’t It Cool News used to further the plot. It was also a promotional URL for the film, and a special internet-only trailer was placed upon the site. Kevin Smith decided about a month ago to turn it into an entertainment news website. I find it to be very good for general news (although I don’t really care much for comics) and it is much more humorous than a regular Entertainment news site like Cinescape or Ain’t It Cool News. I still go to Darkhorizons.com for my total movie news, but I visit this one every day.
My favorite features are the occasional Kevin Smith posts, a DVD feature called Rob’s Retinal Fetish, and the aforementioned brand new score feature.
I love the site. Ryan, tell your friend the article was great and I’m greedily anticipating more.

GuestAh! Not only has Kevin Smith tainted the comic world and film industry, but now this site as well! Oh, the horror….this I say, being the now .01% of the population who doesn’t care for Smith’s work.
