GuestHi i previously posted a topic asking if anyone new what the piano music is that Lecter listens to in his cell when he is given dinner in Red Dragon. I think its also the same music that plays in the background of the dinner scene at the beginning. Any ideas???

GuestPerhaps it is another Hopkins piece (like in Hannibal). Good luck finding it.

GuestAnother Hopkins piece??? I’m assuming you are reffering to the piece played in the deleted scene on the DVD and assume you are cultured enough to know that the piece dubbed over the in the final cut of the film was Bach. I am beginning to think that the music might have been written by Danny Elfman. The updated track listings for the CD includes a title called ‘Hospital Food’. Seeing as Reba ate no food in hospital I’m assuming this is the scene they are talking about.

GuestYeah, what’s up with that?

GuestYes, I was, and yes I know, thanks.
Knight (Who knows better than that, plus almost every theatre played a screen before the movie quoting: “Did you know that the piece that was played by Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal was written by Anthony Hopkins?” so there.)

GuestWhen I said about the extended track listings, I meant when the CD first appeared on Amazon it only had 17 tracks listed, ending with ‘End Credits Suite’. If you look now, the track listings continue after that with an aditional seven or so tracks, including ‘Hospital Food’.

GuestSounds like BS…the commercial release HAS no extra tracks. You might be talking about HAnnibal soundtrack, or some other soundtrack…either way, who cares…i didn’t find this score to be very appealing anyway. if you have those secret extra tracks, then good for you…have a donut.

GuestBoy, dobbs, you didn’t like this score before you even heard it. What’s up with that?

GuestThere are no extra tracks — regardless of what Amazon.com says. The tracks on the CD are the ones listed on this site:
