Danny Elfman has mentioned to SCI-FI INSIDER [Newsletter] that The Main Title Theme for RED DRAGON is reminiscent of the old timey movie music of the 50’s and can be also percieved as a modern take on Nino Rota’s Godfather Waltz.
By the WAY, that’s the official NEWS LETTER of the Sci-Fi Channel.

WOW. A sort of modern take on Rota’s Godfather waltz! Now I’m really looking forward to this work. It’s been years since Danny’s ventured back into his Rota roots.
