GuestJust to say i love the score. I’m primarily a John Williams fan along with occasional Horner work (mostly his older stuff like Brainstorm). I only have the Edward Scissorhands score from Elfman (i know…..i know….i’m way behind) but saw Red Dragon the other day and later found that Elfman scored that wonderful music i was hearing. I thought the film was superb (lucky me i never got round to seeing Hannibal last year….i saw an excerpt of it a few days after seeing Red Dragon and though Ridley scott make a big big big mistake making that movie….what a pointless film and story …just not needed…..Lecter is about as scary in it as the Joker in Batman if you ask me (i’ve also ordered that score by the way). I was chilled by Elfman’s Main titles (the piece where Lecter’s newspaper excerpts are splashed over the screen). I’ve ordered the soundtrack and a renewed interest in Elfman has begun. I may visit this site increasingly.
Bye for now
