perhaps the most well known piece of elfman music in the non film music world and we hardly discuss it…
There’s not much to discuss.
Actually if u do break it down slightly, it is a bit interesting.
my fav part is when maggie and marge both hit the horn
u hear a little edward suburban motif at that point, i like rite after lisa leaves school playing the sax and you hear a batman-esque pounding action sound.
It’s an awesome piece and just I’ve started learning it on the piano. I might be playing it in a competition next year – the Eisteddfod (eye-stead-fod – for those guys who can’t pronounce Welsh!). It’s Wales’s National event, dating back centuries. I entered the piano competition last year, but no luck. Well, no surprises when you’ve only just learnt the piece the night before. This time i’ll be more prepared.
I learned the Simpson’s theme on the piano. If you break it down, you’ll learn that it is actually quite easy. It’s basically variations of the two whole note scales. The only hard part about it is that the key changes alot and the runs take a little practice, but if your like me, it doesn’t matter how long it takes, the song is just too amazing.
Wow! where did you find the music for it?? I used to play the piano, but I am considering taking it up agian (maybe it well help me start, my motivation is not very good). I have always wanted to play it. I have also wanted to play the intro to Beetlejuice for band but I don’t think that well ever happen because ****Warning: Read on for information that the writer has basically wrote because she needs to say it and it may not make any sense**** … but well first off, this year i am not in that class(i greatly miss it) and our band director is a complete… well ah, strange, i’ll put it and basically and everyone dropped the class who could. He isn’t a person that should be teaching because he really doesn’t understand kids and he didn’t make fun anymore. We use to have a wonderful band. But then the teacher moved for better pay and better job (last i heard he didn’t like the school he was at, that would be his problem) then we got another teacher he was ok, hard to get use to at first but not for long because he was recently out of college and could relate to us. Then he moves back to where he came from (maybe because there was girls his age there he could date?? hmmm.. who knows??)and then we get stuck with someone we can’t really enjoy and who is in love with music we would rather not be playing because the school board is too g*d D*mn cheap. –sorry if this makes no sense at all. it is basically irrelivent anyways. oh ya. art teacher quits(retired) and guess what?!?! no teacher is hired!! Art is cut
. D*mn school board. Maybe I should move to where people can be hired for low paying teacher jobs?? Well I be in Kansas for the rest of my life??
-again sorry if this makes absolutley no sense. It feels good to get this out.-Did anyone see this year’s Simpson’s Haloween Special?? Fox was down durning that time(and boy was i mad!!) Well anyways was there anything worthy of remembering in December since it was aired in October?
-wow!! Tomorrow The Two Tower’s Soundtrack comes out!!! yahoo!! I’m getting the special edition myself. Fellowship rocked! (already got the CD dowloaded from KAZAA but I wnat the real think. I am in Love with it. and if you must know Gladitor, and anything Danny wrote. I have this problem with John Willaims. i cn’t quite warm up to him. I am trying though, mind you. Got the Chamber of Secrets last weekend. it puzzles me. greatly.

I never got the music for it. I basically just sat down with my cd player and kept rewinding it until I got the whole thing.
