Guestha! fooled you all! richard elfman, that is! yes, i went off and bought shrunken heads off amazon.com for eight dollars. that was a retarded film, i think. sure i watched the whole thing, but i can’t believe that film came out of the forbiden zone and modern vampires boy. (i’m missing one.. can’t remember..)
nice little chase scene with no one lives forever ended up being the highlight of the film. and did you see all the elfvin folk running around? we’ve got the director, main title boy, louie, bohdi, granma, and the father! thats six elfmen and counting!
so.. did anyone like the film?

Guest… though I have to admit it’s a special kinda stupid.
I love low budget, BAD movies — it’s the Mystie in me, I guess.

I especially love the way (SPOILERS!!!) the film starts off so sacharine sweet and innocent, and then, outta nowhere — BAM! They’re all dead! That’s right — bang bang, you’re dead, fifty bullets in your head! That was a nice dark swing out into left field… though they were halfway there already with that cheesy tone…
And did anyone notice that the ENTIRE score was obviously a temp track of Danny’s stuff? Edward Scissorhands, ESPECIALLY? I felt sorry for the poor shmuck who had to score all the filler material… you just know Richard must’ve been smacking him on the head: “I said HAUNTING, you idiot! HAUNTING! Don’t make me put on my brother’s damn CD again!”

Peace Love and all that Jazz. . .

Guestyeah, the edward part wasz definately in the tommy/sally love theme. it bugged me! the harp would come in and the chorus and i’d be like, “and?? and??” and it would just play wthout the main theme! and what was with tommy going inside her shirt? that was pretty messed up. i kept thinking that if someone passed by me and looked at the tv i’d say, “duh! richard elfman.” but the opportunity never came.
