Even though Sam Raimi made Danny leave behind what could have been another great film sieries score, I still want to see what’s going to happen with Peter Parker and M.J. . Will they get married like the comic? Or will that be another movie.
Who will be the next best Villian Rival? Tohper Grace or Tomas Hayden Cristiasan?
The report is that Kirsten Dunst spilled the beans and said Grace is playing Venom and Church is playing Sandman. I’m interested in the story, but I have close to no respect left for today’s Sam Raimi as opposed to a few years ago.
Sam didn’t “make” Danny do anything… although he put him in a bad place.
Word is now that in addition to what Dunst (aka Dunce) said before about the two villians being Sandy and Venom, she hinted that it’d be “two and a half” villians… so my guess is we’ll see some sort of transfer with Harry, and they’ll have the whole cast back for one more show.
Venom deserves his own movie as far as I’m concerned, so this news (if it’s true… Dunst has been known to leak total crap) really isn’t great news for me. Sandman isn’t exactly my first choice for a villian, and Venom (if done in these movies) needs to be set up from the flick before and then introduced by the end of the movie. They’re trying to cram too much in this flick, and I’m not liking it.
Of course, I’ve been pissed off with this movie ever since I heard no Danny! I’m with Spider-Fan… I’ve lost some respect for Raimi now.
Agreed with you both on Raimi. I trust him with the Spidey-films, but his treatment with Danny really soured my thoughts on him as a collaborator.
I really wish they would use ONE main villain, as I feel including any more is a potentially bad idea, but I’ve seen it work successfully with BATMAN BEGINS.
