GuestJust wondering, whats with the different times for the score?
the score thats listerd on the site is very different then the ost in time, for a start “lydia discovers” on the album is 56 seconds, its says on the site its over a minute, i dont remember it being that long on the film? and i know some tracks it says are different but theres no mark next to this trackJanuary 4, 2003 at 10:58 am #43618Anonymous
GuestMaybe there where 2 produced, like one that was the OST and one that was rerecorded later, arranged differently or something (doubtful but it’s a possibility).

GuestSpeaking of going out and buying stuff, I just purchased MFADT Vol. II. My, oh my, I have just fallen head-over-heels for Dolores and To Die For. Maybe it’s that I haven’t had the opportunity to listen to them except in the films themselves, but dear god, that is some FANTASTIC scoring! Dolores is so deliciously melancholy that (drumroll) I’m ever-so-tempted to replace “Black Beauty” as my #1 Elfman favorite…but time will tell. Further proof that Elfman is nearly perfect…

GuestYes, shame on you if you don’t have Dolores Claiborne yet. Go out and buy the CD immediately. It’s definitely one of my favorite scores.

GuestYes, I know, I’m a bad Elfman fan…but hey, I have it now, so does that redeem me even a little bit? *Grins* Now “Dead Presidents” has taken over as my favorite-Elfman theme…but who says that you can’t have more than one favorite?
