This isn’t really a pertinent topic, but just curious: does anyone have a list of how Elfman’s name has appeared in the credits for all the Simpsons Treehouse of Terror episodes? Are any of them inside jokes? And does anyone know why, around Season 10 or so, they stopped doing gag names in the credits at all? Again, just curious….
Oops, I mean Treehouse of Horror.
Red Wolfman Elfman is the only one I remember….
I think they mention on the Season 2 Simpson DVD commentary that they stopped it because the credits became to small to read when FOX started to push the credits aside due to “Up Next” promos that take up most of the screen. If they didn’t say that then that would have been a good reason. Incidentally the commentary to the Treehouse Of Horror season 2 episode is the one that they talk about the music a lot. Al Clausen does do a great job on the show – as his multiple Emmy nominations (and win) shows.
