ParticipantI noticed a lot of people are ‘sad’ (to say the least) about Elfman not scoring SM3… Well I just thought I should briefly comment on the following message-
“I’m looking forward to Elfman’s new stuff too, but it’s still a shame that he won’t do SP3. I really loved the Train cue on SP2, maybe that would have been the direction to go. And what he wrote for Doc Ock was simply amazing. “
Chris Young wrote both of those cues. Actually, those were the ONLY two cues he was hired to write for SM2 after Danny left. And yes, they are “simply amazing.”
Christ, give the guy a chance! Danny’s music is great, and so is Chris’. Enough said.

KeymasterFYI – if that was posted on this board than they were probably referring to the cues that Elfman wrote — “Doc Ock Is Born” and “Train / Appreciation” — that are actually on Elfman’s score CD.

And, despite Young’s talent, was better.
