Seen the new FRIGHTENERS DVD? Well, it is indeed the deluxe Laser Disc version – which includes a lengthy Elfman segment (almost too lengthy) . We are also treated to deleted scenes with Elfman’s music cues that were never in either the directors cut or theatrical versions on the film. Nice stuff. Check it out….

I bought it today and watched the music segment (sorry, don’t have four hours to watch everything just yet!!). Great vintage stuff. Even a glimpse of the scoring session. I wish Elfman and Jackson would have collaborated again on KONG, but oh well, can’t get all my wishes.
