What are you all doing for the holiday season? Anything cool? I was going to go out of town, but i realized that i couldn’t afford to. Just wanting to know if anybody is doing anything fun excluding me….lol…

Heh… I don’t do much of anything on the Holidays. I guess on Christmas I’ll go see the Rocky Horror Picture Show like I do every month, cuz I have no life like that. Yay me.

I’m not going anywhere, because I”ll be moving out of the country the day after Dec. 25th – which means that I”m moving on Dec. 26th (lol!). I suppose I”ll be finishing packing, and saying goodbye to people I never liked anyway, but who feel like they have to wish me “goodbye.” And yes, I hate the “holiday” season…

I’ll probably be working–and then go home and remember when the holidays actually meant something….not to mention, I’ll probably be spending most of the time wishing it were Halloween!
And maybe draw a picture of Jack–just because I can!
Danny strikes me as the type to not get too hyped-up over the holidays. Sure, there was NMBC, but it more scary, Halloweeney-themed. Therefore, I’ll pay tribute to thinking the winter holidays ain’t all that grand, and DE at the same time by playing “This is Halloween…”

For now, the holidays remind me of ghosts. Strange thing to say, but I’ve had this…what I call the ‘Ouija Board Incident’ last December which has caused me and a good friend to have semi-paranoia and slight insomnia every now and then… but it’s definitely interesting. I wait to see if anything happens on the anniversary… I like Christmas time usually because of all the lights. It’s so pretty! And snow, I’m a snow lover. Pretty again, yet very cold, but oh well.. And Santa Claus, lies. My friends told me they cried when they found out he wasn’t real. I was just furious. lol

…An entire day of shopping, an entire day of being forced to listen to eccentrically happy Christmas muzak. I love Christmas themed music, but a few more hours of that is enough to drive me insane…specially when each store seems to play the same song list…Oh yea, Happy Holidays
Heh, I just totally missed the main question for the thread… uhm.. my best friend is coming to have x-mas with my family…then I’ll go over to her place for New Years…And yes it is cool..
Why does christmas bring out the anger in everyone? Like today at my house we were decorating and putting crap on the tree, but for some reason (like every year) we all started to become tense and started to yell at the simplist mistakes and for a while couldn’t stand each other. Why do we as a soceity put so much pressure on the holiday season? It’s not just about presents, in fact i could care less about them, it’s about hanging out with my loved ones for the first time in months and getting to know my family all over again….i guess what i’m trying to say (and not doing it well) is why is x-mas such a big deal? Why do we stress? just…why? (i would like to thank the academy lol)

p.s.s.my family’s actually really cool people and i wouldn’t trade them for the world (just didn’t want you to think there terrible people)did you guys know that a long time ago there was a man named Saint Nicholas who donated all his money (which was a lot) to the poor? yeah, and somehow it evolved into mas commercialism! yay! commercialism mas = christmas! so there was a santa claus (or at least a st. nick.. which is probably like the holy spirit of santa claus or somthin’.) and like all mortals, he died, and his ghost either spread gree/joy throughtout the world, or his memory lives on! in conclusion, there is a santa claus.. or at least there was.

I don’t know what’s wrong with you people. I enjoy Christmas very much. Why is it that this time of year is the most common time of year for depression and suicides? I just don’t get it. I feel alone *wheeps and gets depressed*.
Well, the holidays are supposedly “happy times filled with family, friends and significant others,” and if you don’t have a happy family, friend or significant other situation…I’m guessing the fact that it gets rubbed in your face gets a bit annoying. Fake happiness – and that’s the type that seems most prevalent during the holiday season – annoys me. Yeah, I’m just a gigantic ball of happiness today…

Well, I do agree that Christmas has become very commercialized. But, that doesn’t mean that happiness has to be commercialized. I do know how you feel, though. School has become very stressful for me in the past two weeks, and will become even more stressful in the next week or so until Christmas vacation begins. My teachers think they have to cram in exams during the last week so we won’t forget what they taught us during break. It’s almost impossible to be happy.
At the risk of sounding “preachy,” it’s not that we teachers WANT to cram thins in, just that we have standards to meet. Sorry your having issues with it; I’m afraid my students are in your same boat…

Today was my last day for my final’s in college and now, i don’t know what to do with myself….maybe i’ll go carolling to pepole who hate me, that’s a choice…hmm…..anybody ever done any holiday pranks? the only one i can remember was doing the classic ring the doorbell and then run like heck prank…it was fun…i guess you would have had to be there…..yeah…i’m done now….*sigh*
