GuestI’m really curious about Capcom’s and Buena Vista Interactive “Nightmare Before Christmas” videogame. From what I’ve seen in several sites, the graphics really capture the essence of the movie, although the game itself doesn’t seem that original (just the usual kill the baddies, collect stuff… yawn). Anyway, this will be a game to buy. Any of you know if Danny Elfman is creating new music and songs for the game? It would be a disappointment if they do what’s usually done in movie related games (hire an unknown composer to creat entirely new music to avoid copyright issues…). This game BEGS for a great Elfman soundtrack.
Oh, speaking of games: just arrived today, my “Nightmare Before Christmas Board Game”, one of NECA’s wonderful new merchandising items from the film (check out the great new action figures and dolls…). I’m yet to try it, but let me just say that the pewter figurines we use to walk around the board are a delight.

ParticipantI didn’t even know about that NBC game! I looked up some screenshots and they’ve done pretty well. I’m not going to shell over 50 bucks for it though. If Danny Elfman decides to compose a new suite for the game, it would make many people very happy, myself included. After all, Fable was pretty satisfying, and NBC already has an established fanbase. We’ll see I guess.

GuestOf course it seems that “the graphics really capture the essence of the movie” because 90% of the screen shots are from the movie dip sh*t. Are you retarded? They’re gonna use clips from the movie in the game. The graphics for the game play graphics are like the rest of the PS 2, X Box, Game Cube, etc graphics. Nothing gets passed you, huh? Sharp as a bowling ball….
