hey guys!
I found this the other day when I was looking for a Nightmare before christmas movie review…
Overall the guy gives it a good review but look at what he have to say about danny’s score :
“The blandness of Danny Elfman’s songs represents The Nightmare Before Christmas’ most serious failing. With the exception of one or two, these tunes are uniformly unmemorable. They certainly lack the “hummability” of Alan Menken’s work for Disney’s recent animated releases. Nothing in Nightmare is close to “Be Our Guest” (Beauty and the Beast) or “Friend Like Me” (Aladdin).”
That’s HORRIBLE!

Yeah, what a failure for THE score that got me into film scores in the first place when I was only 7!
Can’t comment–busy laughing repeatedly, at perhaps the funniest thing I’ve ever heard!
