ParticipantWell, sorry folks, I couldn’t help myself…
I hope this isn’t spam. I worked since 2004 on this CD and It’s got a lot of Elfman and Bernard Herrmann influence in it. I threw a lot of money into it too (as you can probably tell). It’s not out yet so I figured some input from you guys would help me shape this album. Tell me what you think of these short track clips…
“Introduction”
“Main Theme from The Drawing of the Three“
“The Beach”
“The Third Door”
“Jack Mort’s Private World of Death”Stephen King has a copy of the first CD, which is on iTunes and Rhapsody now. Hopefully the second one will be decent enough. Also with a copy is Bev Vincent, who wrote a book on King’s Dark Tower series and gave me some thoughtful comments that drove the form of this new CD.
Thanks all,

ParticipantJ.R.,
Just wanted to let you know, that I thought this was really good. I’m very familiar with the books and I think this works well with it. I think that what I assume is Roland’s theme (in the ‘Introduction’ track) with the guitar and violin is beautiful, yet tragic. Very fitting. I also like ‘The Third Door’ cue a lot too. A great deal of mystery and wonder…and not to mention dark. I know this has been your “baby” for quite some time, and I think it’s worth all your hard work. Now we just gotta give you an orchestra and you will be all set. I thought I had an extra one in my attic I could let you borrow, but when I went to check all I found was a pile of bones and tuxedos. Whoops.
