Rie (and all),

This is David, Ryan’s hosting guy. This was due to a couple of circumstances, the first being a fired motherboard in one primary server, and then a DB corruption due to all the connections to the database server being eaten up. (I guess that’s somewhat a good thing, showing that the sites here have become popular)

We’ve made some tuning adjustments to the database server as well as some tuning of the software that runs the websites to not eat up the connection pool. I’ve assured Ryan, and will assure you, fine readers, that this should not occur again.
