August 22, 2008 at 4:34 am #62449gordonbluParticipantWow. That was even more fun than the John Wayne video bit, which was better than the Hulk Hogan sequence from the film. The Gremlins sabotaging the Batmobile makes even more sense than what actually happened in Batman Returns. The Penguin finding a schematic of the Batmobile? But that is the Gremlins M.O. in the first place. On a side note, Did you know that the concept of the Gremlins was originally conceived by Roald Dahl for a scrapped Disney animated film from the 1940’s? I’m not sure if He used any particular folk-lore or just completely made it up, but Warner Brothers ended up using the concept for a Bugs Bunny cartoon called “Falling Hare” directed by my animation hero, Bob Clampett.
