I know this Thread has been created before, but it has fallen prey to one of the flaws of this Message Board, so I am reviving it, with this video.

Start at 1:37. I know it is only one person, but it does not assuage my doubts that there will not be a score release.
May 17, 2009 at 6:56 am #64170Descent Into MysteryParticipantThe fact that this movie is already at Cannes, during a month with ANOTHER movie featuring an Elfman score…it is safe to assume that Elfman didn’t do much music for this movie. I can’t imagine him scoring this and Terminator at the same time. He probably did a theme or two and the rest are just songs.
May 17, 2009 at 5:19 pm #64174Nick ParkerParticipantYou are most likely right, especially if Ryan was right when he said Danny Elfman wrote about 140 minutes of music for Terminator: Salvation (did the film really need that much music?)

May 20, 2009 at 6:46 pm #64221MonsterheadParticipantInfo about the soundtrack was just posted here:

Sadly, there are no Elfman tracks – all pop music. But the reviewer states that it’s Elfman’s music that is “front and center” over the Woodstock music. Strange. Maybe we’ll get a score release after all?
September 3, 2009 at 11:18 am #64573ThorParticipantDoes anyone know if there are any score tracks on the songtrack that isn’t on the upcoming score release?
September 4, 2009 at 3:46 am #64574johnmullinParticipantThere’s only about 25 minutes of score in the film. The score CD is 35 minutes long as it contains some conceptual stuff that did not make the movie.
September 6, 2009 at 10:31 pm #64579MonsterheadParticipantHas anyone listened to the four tracks that were on the song soundtrack for TW? They’re growing on me. I like them more than the “9” soundtrack. Any other thoughts?
September 8, 2009 at 8:54 pm #64587TenderLumplingParticipantI’ve listened to the samples on amazon, and I’m very much looking forward to getting the score album in the mail! It’s a side of Elfman that we don’t really get much of, and I’m very happy to hear more of it.
May 11, 2010 at 6:25 pm #65428Ryan KeaveneyKeymasterLa-La Land Records has Danny’s TAKING WOODSTOCK score album on sale for only $4.98 — no excuse not to pick this up! 2 weeks only.
May 11, 2010 at 7:17 pm #65431DannyBikerParticipantGot the email and bought it right away. Although I’ll have to pay $8 for shipping…
