Oh, so it wasn’t like that in the film ? Too bad because that’s one epic cue…
Edit : I watched the scene from the theatrical cut on Youtube and…what were they thinking not including Elfman’s music ? He was brought on the project to bring fresh material and they left out one of his best effort on the film in favour of some generic action cue.
On a side note, I wonder if the music was added using a commercial copy because I have never really given up on restoring his music in Spider-Man 2…May 22, 2018 at 9:43 pm #98621
The rest of the cue plays during the end credits at some point, which I guess was some sort of apology. Mixing on this one was beyond dire too.May 23, 2018 at 10:11 pm #98622
Nice. Isn’t the theatrical version scored with music from the first film? Hard to tell with all the sfx.May 24, 2018 at 12:23 am #98623
Good lord. That was some dizzyingly unwatchable dreck. Good music though. So, this is not in the original movie?May 24, 2018 at 7:06 am #98624

The first 48 seconds play in the film; the rest is ‘I Got a Ride’ from Silvestri’s first score tracked in.
