    The IMAX film will in fact feature excerpts and adaptations from Serenada Schizophrana, which is currently being recorded. This is kind of disappointing, as I had hoped he would be composing an entirely new score for the film. SoundtrackNet has a feature about this and has a bunch of really cool scoring session photos.     Elfman always uses a real choir (there have only been a handful of exceptions).

    Yeah, it was me. Check the website for Spectrasonics’ Symphony of Voices. It’s one of the coolest libraries around. It has quotes from the likes of James Newton Howard, Hanz Zimmer and (yes) Danny-boy. MP3 Examples are online as well.

    As for the score, I’m still happy. We get the Seranada and Elfman is working with another artist on new music for the piece too. It’s not like someone we don’t know is coming in and doing the new stuff alone. Elfman is there too.

    I know he used SOV boys choir for Good Will Hunting… we were talking about the choirs in Spiderman and Corpse Bride.
