GuestWe all know (hopefully) that Tim Burton always has main titles in his movies that feature either following something (Sleepy Hollow [the carriage], Mars Attacks![the spaceships]) or zooming arond one object (Batman [the symbol], Planet of the Apes [the helmet]). Which do you think it will be for Big Fish? We already kow that the music for the titles is awesome!

GuestHey… I hate to be a kill joy on this one, but I’ve seen the film and must tell you that the opening is not a typical Tim Burton opening. The “modern day” seqences of the film are pretty muted and are not really that recognizable as having been directed by Burton as, say, the entirety of SLEEPY HOLLOW was. The film opens with a really cool shot (I won’t reveal what it is), but then segweys into something a bit more commonplace. The ‘main titles’ cue that’s available on the internet kind of plays under this scene. The music is etherial and of the GOOD WILL HUNTING / CIVIL ACTION / SIMPLE PLAN vein until the fantasy sequences, which is where the score really takes off. And again, there is _very little_ prominent circus music in the film!!
