Does anybody know the name of the songs that play on the trailers?
Please say to me… Is Danny still use the electronic stuff (synth etc) in Big Fish score?
Some electronic percussions yes. But why do you keep asking that ?
Excuse me… But it is a simply silly question. Because I still did not hear this score… My collection of disks is not great. I hate new Elfman`s style. I hate electronic stuff. I hoped that this time he will return to the old style. If he has not returned that I shall not buy this disk…. At least now…. Until then while I shall not buy all his disks made in old style.
O, Danny, what for to you the new style if old was ideal???“Big Fish” has some light, very beautiful, electronic-assisted percussion where absolutely needed. It has NONE of the techno beats that dominated Planet of the Apes and Spider-Man. “Big Fish” a gorgeous, entirely orchestral score. Unlike anything Danny’s done in a long time. And also one of his very best achievements.

One of my favorite musical cues in the film is during “The Growing Montage” when the Edward Scissorhands-like bit appears with the chorus. The shot of the creepy, identical suburban houses and the synchronized lawn mowers really compliments the music (although, technically, the MUSIC, which came later, compliments the SHOT).
