GuestI have been looking for a song title for months when I came across a commercial for the “Big Fish” movie, they were playing my “unknown” song! Partial lyrics are “grab your things, I’m gonna take you home” Can anyone tell me the title?
Thanks!

GuestI believe the song title you are looking for is “Salisbury Hill” by Peter Gabriel.

GuestThe song is Solsbury Hill (correct spelling) by Peter Gabriel, ex lead singer of Genesis from late 60s early 70s Solsbury Hill was released on the studio album titled Peter Gabriel in 1977. The album/cd cover has a picture of a car with rain on the windshield. What a shame to find out it is not included on the soundtrack. Gabriel has music embedded through many movies soundtracks including Birdy, The Last Temptation of Christ, Rabbit Proof Fence, Gremlins and Bone Collector. I know there is more, but it’s late and my mind needs some rest. Visit petergabriel.com to find out more. Gabriel is heavy into “Human Rights” issues concerning third world countries. A lot of his music contains artists and sounds from these countries, but man I would love to see an original member Genesis reunion. Check him out(early genesis too), you won’t be disappointed.

GuestI saw the big fish advert, and i too couldn’t remember the name of the song. It annoyed me alot.
Cheers to those who gave the title.January 23, 2004 at 11:55 pm #47775Anonymous
GuestI read somewhere that Elfman is a fan of Peter Gabriel. It makes sense, both of them being influenced by African music. I’ve yet to hear Gabriel’s work with Genesis, but I absolutely love his solo work. I’ve been listen to So constantly for the past few weeks.

Guesthttp://www.genesis-music.com/ Not very helpful. Who the hell is Ray Wilson?Phil Collins is doing disney soundtracks now. You have to avoid this site.
http://www.petergabriel.com/ I love Gabriel, but the “Worldly Influence” thing is wearing thin. Try cd/album titles “The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway” or “Foxtrot” both from Genesis. Elfman could be placed ov almost any movie released today.Sorry.February 10, 2004 at 2:08 pm #48091Anonymous
Guestoops , no it’s not , the title is…. “Your Move”
