I keep seeing this banner for A7E’e Biography for Tim Burton but i dont know if its going to be on or not. Has anyone else seen this?
I saw it a couple of years ago when Planet of the Apes came out…it didn’t really contain anything us Burton-fan geeks don’t already know, save perhaps for the fact that the goth-artist thing that he’s got is a persona of Tim’s own creation. There’s interviews with guys that he used to work with at Disney and the consensus is that the dark, “I’m such a twisted artist” thing is something that Tim conciously came up with as a way to disguise something that they don’t really explain.. Someone (I can’t recall who) said they thought that the “dark” thing was a character that Tim was playing on purpose.
Obviously, I’ve never met Burton, so I can’t say how accurate it was, but it seemed like a reasonable explanation of the guy and his work.
