GuestI’ve just read about an upcoming film called “Boogeyman,” about a man who revisits his frightening childhood home and faces his always feared closet. The movie is being produced by Sam Raimi… do I sense another movie for Danny Elfman? IMDb does not yet have a composer listed. With Sam Raimi, an avid Elfman user producing plus a very frightening, dark movie, this sounds like a perfect movie for Danny Elfman to score!

GuestWell, it really all depends on who is directing it, not who is producing it…I think.
Knight (You never know, we might have another Lo Duca Score on our hands from it)

Guestthe producer’s job includes picking the crew for the movie…the director hardly has as much say as the producers do. raimi definitely has the power to hire elfman as the movie’s composer.

GuestI hope we do get a new LoDuca score, he’s amazing! Him and Bruce Campbell were the only reasons I ever forced myself to watch “Xena”.
His score for “Thou Shalt Not Kill…Except” was unbelievably cool…a big old orchestral war movie score with some asian flutes and stuff. Go rent the movie if you can, cause there’s no album available..

GuestLoDuca is so underrated! it makes me mad! I mean you rarely seem his name in the credits of a movie, and the last thing I saw his name in the credits for was the new He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon on Cartoon Network, which I mean, it really sounded awsome, but I think he deserves more, MUCH more!
