Interrupting your regular Elfman schedule to chime in and praise David Arnold’s Casino Royale.
The best and most exciting Bond score in centuries with a very memorable and catchy theme. The song Remember My Name is based on this new theme and I think it is also the best Bond song in quite a while.
Give this one a listen!
BTW, seems like the movie is a winner too:

Yeah, that’s the stuff.
November 11, 2006 at 10:01 pm #57633Spider-FanParticipantAn Elfman Bond score would be interesting, but I really think that if anyone besides David Arnold were to tackle a Bond score, it’s Michael Giacchino who deserves it most.
November 12, 2006 at 1:35 am #57634NatreboParticipantRight you are… he after all wrote the Best Bond score over the last 10 years for a non-Bond film.

What about John Barry? As I understand it, John Barry was once attached to The Incredibles, but his demo tracks were rejected for whatever reason. Maybe because Barry wasn’t interested in copying himself.
