Those with good memories may recall one of my posts called “Gametracks”, in which I mentioned that I changed or compiled some movie soundtracks for gaming. Well, here they are. Each zip file includes the music (encoded at 128 kbps) and comments by yours truly.

As an added bonus, here’s one from The Matrix Revolutions by Don Davis:

Hey! Nice mixes. I don’t have the MIIB score yet, and it’s good to hear some of it. Very contemporary, but very nice…good use of techno and orchestra.

Well, actually that track is on the MIB II score, I just cut a few things out.

That’s what he said (MIIB = MIB II) hehe

Jonathan is right, MIIB is the abreviation for “Men in Black II”…

That’s exactly right. MIIB does indeed stand for “Men in Black II”. Jonathan was correct when saying

    Quote:
    (MIIB = MIB II) hehe

    .

Nin Cherry is right about Jonathan being right about MII2 being the abbreviation for Men in Black 2.

    That’s true.

Um…that’s not what I meant. I thought that he thought that I put the “techno” stuff in there. I already know MIIB = MIB II. I was merely explaining what I did with the piece itself.

    >I was merely explaining what I did with the piece itself.

… which was clear to everyone except for The J and Dylan.

    >Very contemporary, but very nice…

Now that’s quite possibly the worst thing I’ve ever read.

Yes, you’re right. MIIB is the abbreviation to Men in Black II. Very true.

    I agree with Nin Cherry!

    >Very contemporary, but very nice…

    maybe not the worst, but…

Oh goodness. Listen, it was a rushing comment that I didn’t put a lot of thought into, and really I was just being nice because Duncan was generous enough to post these music files online. The intensive use of techno beats for MIIB strikes me as very contemporary…it certainly isn’t ‘not contemporary.’ I hate to be made fun of by fellow Elfman fans, even if it’s lightly poking at. I was merely being kind because Duncan was generous, so I gave my brief, four word initial reaction to the MIIB piece, in addition to thanking him for his generosity.

    That’s okay. Thank you, Dylan.

Let’s just forgive, forget, and move on.

People, continue to give me feedback on these.

So wait….let me get this straight: MIIB is the abbreviation for MIB II???

    Yes.

I’m sorry if I offend anyone for being blunt, but can we please just get back to my topic? I though what I did with Elfman’s stuff was pretty cool, and all I wanted to do was share it with everyone here. So please drop this Men In Black II thing and check out my files at the top. :(

Pretty please, with cherries and whip cream on top? :)
