I really enjoyed the Original score songs on the Chicago soundtrack. Are there any additional scores or CD’s that have the same type of 1920’s music/jazz.

Dick Tracy Score (1990)- track 3: “Crime Spree”
Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)- track 13: “Oogie Boogie’s Song”
and a few tracks from Forbidden Zone (1980), that’s about it for Elfman

A great non-Elfman CD that is of the same type is:

James P. Johnson – Victory Stride

It contains his neglected orchestral music, including his “Charleston” (quoted by Elfman in the Suite track from Chicago).

I should also add “The Mooche”, heard in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, by Duke Ellington and Irving Mills. Co-incidentally, the version heard in ADDAMS FAMILY was orchestrated by Steve Bartek.
