Have any of you tried to contact Elfman? Did he reply?

That’d be a negatory on both…I wish I’d stop being a fruitcake and actually do it. To those of you who have, more power to you!

I’ve heard that sometimes he replies, sometimes he doesn’t. Some people got a reply from him around six months after they sent a letter. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but he has a life so I can understand why he doesn’t sit and answer fan mail. I remember a long time ago, I sent a friend’s letter to him but it came back saying it couldn’t be forwarded through that agency, I guess he had changed agencies.

well, if he’s anything like his music, then he’s pretty introverted, and i wouldn’t expect him to to be very social or public. Besides, maybe he visits these sites often for some feedback, and actually DOES put in his own entries under a different pseudonym. It’s not like there’s TONS of Elfman sites floating around in here, and Ryan’s seems to be the brighter of them all, so…I can see him doing that.

I wouldn’t necessarily describe Danny as “introverted”–maybe busy and un-social (quite possibly un-social because he’s busy). But I could never picture an introvert as fronting a band, you know? Still, I could be wrong.
