Check out this interview of Richard Elfman. It says it all about the upcoming Forbidden Zone DVD, which is going to be released this fall… Great great news…

This is all really cool, thanks for that, Eric :oD

I’m still really gutted at no news of a theater release over here, though! :(

wow… that must be a drag sometimes! Do you have to import much stuff? One good thing about living in Switzerland, at least: I bet you feel safer there than we do in America and England! Man, our society’s gone downhill! :( …yeah, my soul gets pretty tortured over this kinda stuff… I’m a true romantic! Ha!

Well, soundtrack cd’s are easy to get when they’re for big films, produced by big studios. If they’re released in Germany or in France, I’m sure to be able to get them here… But dvd’s are nightmare, because a lot of films (mostly the independant ones) aren’t even released in theaters, and don’t get a dvd release… So, getting the Forbidden Zone dvd is going to be very expensive for me…
About the safety, you’re right… That is one good thing here. Even 10year old kids can take the bus at night, and go downtown at night to see a movie… So, in a way, we’re lucky.

Speaking of safe, I live out in the country in the middle of the Colorado prairie. Yesterday, some people who were hanging out at my next door neighbors, and were at my house to pick up a free barbecue, were arrested for armed robbery and theft of several residences in the surrounding areas. Lovely.
