Guestdoes anyone know if there are any live preformances with Danny music? When I was in New York for this german thing since I was crowned queen for something, I was in the apartment with my parents, I swear I heard the Nightmare Before Christmas score coming some from building. It was so loud i could hear it clearly! I almost freaked I wanted to be where-ever that music was coming from!

GuestHahahaha @ Mr. Dantz

I’ve never been to a “real” performance of Elfman music, though I’ve seen stuff online years ago – – just like the occasional orchestra obtaining some Elf-music to perform. It doesn’t help any that he doesn’t conduct.
Oh well – – as much as I’d love to hear Elfman music performed by a really great orchestra and conductor live, I’m aware that it’s not something that’s likely to happen. That’s OK, I’m going to a John Williams concert tomorrow night (and 2 more this summer . . . I’m so spoiled here), and there’s other opportunities that come up to quench my thirst for live film music.

Guestmaybe if danny put his music in a traditional from it would be performed more frequently, like vaughan williams’ “sinfonia antarctica” which was just “scott of the antarctic” recycled

GuestWell , if he does do any performances / concerts with orchestra i would love to see it . But elfman`s music is really creative. When i go to concerts and stuff to see this band called STS9 ( SOUND TRIBE SECTOR 9 ) or phish they have these artists that are like totally crazy and when the music starts playing they make art thats to the feel of the music onstage and they sell them after show . This is totally off the subject but it would be awsome if elfman could do that .

i think there website is
http://www.sts9.com or .net or .org
when you get on there look
for something that has to do
with art and you`ll see these
awsome paintings - AuthorPosts
