So, when exactly is Danny’s birthday? Most places I look say “May 29, 1953,” though my Simpsons 2003 wall calendar (which lists birthdays of famous music personalities) has it listed on May 19. I know, I know: a Simpsons wall calendar is probably not the most “reliable source” of usable information…. but anyway, I’m just checking.
I believe it’s 29th.

“Halliwells Who’s Who In The Movies – Expanded and Updated – 2001 Edition” has him listed as being born in 1949! The IMDb has him born in 1953, so I don’t know what’s more reliable.

I came across a Mixmag article from 2001 where Danny mentions going to France in 1971 before the end of his senior year, saying he was only 18 at the time. Which in that case would make his birth year in 1953. As for the day, everything I’ve ever found said May 29.
By the way, I’m new here.

So hey: if he was indeed born in ’53, then that makes this upcoming birthday his big 5-0!
May 29 is my horse’s birthday.
Boy, I bet Danny Elfman sure feels special, sharing a birthday with my horse and all . . .
