I just got back from Borders where I was sampling some of the soundtracks. The horrible, horrible soundtrack to Haunted Mansion includes Dead Man’s Party. They’ve got a crapload of random songs on it, but at least one of them is good.
It’s such a shame that they do things like this to soundtracks . . . I went and saw the movie in January (it was at the El Capitan though, and they had brought in tons and tons of sets and costumes and really, really, REALLY awesome stuff from the movie so at least I was justified in paying money for it) and definitely noticed the score . . . well, at least the main titles, I don’t remember if I noticed anything later on in the movie. It was very disappointing to see that there is only a short overture from the film on the soundtrack. I hate it when they do that. :-p So I bought Master and Commander instead. Yay good music.
Yeah! I saw that, and was so upset for two reasons :
– The music in the movie is not on the soundtrack album !
– The boingo song on the soundtrack album is not in the movie !
None of the songs are in the movie!!!!! I hate this commercial stuff!!!!!!!!
